Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Linkifier services, including public pages, dashboards, telemetry tools, email features, and AI-based categorization systems.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Linkifier.me, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You represent that you are legally capable of entering this agreement and, if acting for an entity, that you are authorized to bind that entity.
3. Service Scope and Availability
We provide tools for profile pages, link management, telemetry reporting, optional email capture, and discovery/categorization features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice.
4. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content, links, claims, and communications published through your profile. You must ensure all material is lawful and does not violate third-party rights.
- No illegal, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
- No malware, automated abuse, scraping, or attempts to bypass security controls.
- No false identity, fraudulent traffic generation, or manipulation of analytics.
- No content or links that violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, consumer protection, anti-spam, sanctions, or platform safety laws.
5. License You Grant to Us
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, copy, index, and display submitted content solely to operate, secure, improve, and lawfully promote the service.
6. Telemetry, Analytics, and Operational Logging
You authorize collection and processing of technical and behavioral telemetry required for service operation, abuse prevention, analytics reporting, and system integrity. This may include page interactions, clicks, time-on-page, scroll depth, session-level diagnostics, referrer context, browser/device fingerprints, and network metadata.
Telemetry may be aggregated, pseudonymized, rate-limited, cached, and retained for fraud investigation, billing validation, dispute handling, reliability analysis, and legal compliance.
7. Email Collection and Messaging Obligations
If you enable email capture or outreach features, you are the sender and controller for those communications. You must follow applicable marketing, anti-spam, and consent laws in your jurisdiction.
- You must have a valid legal basis before contacting recipients.
- You must honor unsubscribe and suppression requests promptly.
- You may not use purchased or unlawfully obtained email lists.
- You indemnify us for claims arising from your outbound messaging conduct.
8. AI and OpenAI-Based Processing
To improve discovery, quality, safety, and relevance, we may process profile data (for example name, description, links, category signals, and related metadata) with AI systems, including processors such as OpenAI, to classify, regroup, score, enrich, detect abuse, and generate category descriptions.
You authorize this processing as part of platform operations. AI output may be probabilistic and can contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee completeness, correctness, ranking position, or commercial outcomes.
9. Third-Party Services and External Links
Our platform may integrate third-party infrastructure, payment processors, analytics tools, or external links. We do not control third-party content or policies and are not responsible for losses caused by external services.
If you configure Meta Pixel, Google tag, Google Ads conversion tracking, or similar tracking technologies on your Linkifier page, you are responsible for obtaining any legally required visitor consent, providing required notices, honoring opt-outs, and complying with the applicable third-party platform terms. You must not use tracking pixels to collect sensitive personal data, target children, or conduct unlawful profiling.
Pages or flows protected by Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile may send security, browser, device, interaction, IP address, cookie, and challenge signals to the selected provider for spam, fraud, and abuse prevention.
10. Account Security and Access
You are responsible for protecting credentials, session access, and connected accounts. We may enforce security controls, reset sessions, or restrict access to protect users and systems.
11. Suspension, Takedown, and Termination
We may remove content, suspend accounts, disable links, or terminate access at our discretion, including where we suspect abuse, legal risk, fraud, policy violations, or security threats.
12. Fees, Subscriptions, and Paid Features
Certain features may require payment. Paid terms, renewal conditions, and cancellation rules are disclosed at purchase or checkout. Taxes and payment-provider fees may apply.
Subscriptions are processed through Stripe and may renew automatically until canceled. If you cancel a subscription, access generally continues until the end of the current billing period unless the checkout terms state otherwise. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law, expressly stated at checkout, or approved by us in our discretion.
13. Intellectual Property
All service software, branding, interfaces, and underlying systems are owned by us or our licensors. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit service components.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uptime, or data accuracy.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts paid by you to us in the 3 months before the event, or (b) EUR 100.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Linkifier, its operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, penalties, and costs arising from your content, your messaging activity, your legal violations, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Data Preservation and Legal Compliance
We may preserve, disclose, or produce account data, telemetry records, logs, and communications where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal requests, enforcement, audits, or dispute resolution.
18. Notices, Complaints, and Takedown Requests
You may report illegal, infringing, abusive, or policy-violating content by contacting [email protected]. Reports should identify the relevant Linkifier URL, explain the issue, provide your contact information, and include any legally required statements or evidence. We may remove, restrict, or preserve content in response to valid notices, legal obligations, or platform safety concerns.
19. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction for the operator's business address in Austria will have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective when posted. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
